iOS 7, It's About Damn Time(r)

One of my favorite new features on the iOS 7 is simply the Timer feature. This is a common feature on basically all mobile devices and is not a "game changer" in any way. The timer feature is easier to access which makes it especially useful and efficient.

Prior to iOS 7, one would need to:

1) Open home screen
2) Enter password
3) Find Clock App
4) Open Clock App
5) Switch from Clock mode to Timer mode

If you needed to check your timer, it was often complicated as well.

1) Open home screen
2) Enter password
3) Find and open App (if you had switched App's while timer was going)

All this to just check your timer! It was infuriating to me, I like to cook and use the timer very often.

In iOS 7, the Timer feature is conveniently located in the multitasking interface along with the Flashlight, Calculator and Camera. No need to enter your password, it's all right there. When you start a timer, the remaining time is fed to your home screen under the clock. No need to do anything but press a button!

For many this is probably not a big deal. Many wont even notice. But to those who use these multitasking features on a frequent basis, life is now much easier. Thanks Apple.

Of coarse there is more to iOS 7 than merely a timer app. Check out these hidden features!
