Golden Eagle Catches Deer

Only in Russia would a Golden Eagle (as seen in the picture below) attack and kill a deer. That's right, an Eagle managed to snag itself a deer for lunch.

Golden Eagles have a wingspan of 6 - 8 feet and weigh between 6 - 14 lbs. Not a lot of weight to throw around when your duking it out with Bambi. Where it lacks in weight, it makes up for with razor sharp talons and a beak that can cut throw flesh like scissors through a piece of paper.

The picture below tells almost the entire story.
