Seahawks show depth in win over Jaguars

On a rainy day in the Pacific Northwest, the Seattle Seahawks trample the helpless Jaguars 45 - 17 to take a commanding lead in the NFC West.

Let's at least admit this, many of us saw this coming. Still, can't get much more impressive than 4 TD and 202 yards in the air for Russell Wilson. Luke Willson had a great day with 5 receptions for 76 yards. Zach Miller caught 2 TD passes while only putting up 5 total yards.

The Seahawks defense was stellar. Jaguars only were able to gain some traction and put up points late in the game when many starters had been pulled on the Seahawks side.

Christine Michael got some carries late in the game and made good use of them racking up 37 yards on 9 carries. Tarvaris Jackson came into the game after Wilson had basically put the game away. Jackson was not merely a hand-off machine as one would expect. Jackson went 7/9 for 139 yards and 1 TD, not bad for a backup.

Seahawks go on the road to play the Texans on Sunday. This will no doubt be a more difficult task and should test this team on the road.
